Attending Events
Tickets
Because we also hire out our venues to third-party organisers, ticket sales arrangements may vary from event to event (for example, tickets may be sold through other providers). Exact information on how and where to purchase tickets is always provided with each event announcement on the website.
Programme Changes
During the year, the programme may be changed or an event cancelled for justified reasons or due to force majeure. If an event is cancelled, the purchase price of returned tickets will be refunded within one week.
Photography and Recording
Photography and recording at events are permitted only by prior arrangement with the institute’s management or on the basis of official media accreditation. Where photography is permitted, please take photographs discreetly, without flash, and with as little disruption as possible to performers and visitors.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive after an event has begun, please wait for the first appropriate break in the programme (for example, applause between musical pieces) and enter the hall quietly.
Our staff cannot allow visitors to enter the venue while a performance is in progress, as this would disturb the performers and audience. For theatre performances, admission after the start is possible only during intervals.
