Tour of Bistrica Castle
Because Bistrica Castle, like the castle park, was not properly maintained after the Second World War — the castle housed, among other things, a military barracks and later apartments — it continued to deteriorate until 1985. Private interests and individual interventions, including the conversion and adaptation of castle rooms into residential units, dealt the castle a decisive blow.

We offer complete wedding planning in the beautiful spaces of our castle, where you will feel truly special. We can organize your wedding ceremony and protocol in the Knights’ Hall, the Wedding Hall, the castle chapel or the castle salons. You can also get married outdoors, in the romantic small park or in the magnificent inner courtyard of the castle. Your wedding celebration can be held in the Knights’ Hall, the castle salons or the castle courtyard.

Castle Tours
The park, protected as a monument of designed nature, was created in the second half of the 16th century. The original geometric layout of the park gradually disappeared; only the central axis with the hornbeam avenue has been preserved, while the rest of the park remains designed in a free landscape style.
