Opening Hours and Visitor Information
Winter opening hours (1 November – 31 March)
Grajski Lodn Shop:
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Castle tours are available only for groups by prior arrangement.
Summer opening hours (1 April – 31 October)
- Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Last admission to the castle is half an hour before closing time.
The castle is closed on public holidays and other non-working days. The exception is 8 February – Slovenian Cultural Holiday
Self-Guided Visits
- On arrival, please report to the Visitor Centre in the castle’s inner courtyard.
- When purchasing or presenting your ticket, you will receive a symbolic castle key, which you can use to unlock the castle rooms yourself.
- Our reception team will be happy to provide basic information and recommend the most suitable route through the castle.
- After your visit, simply return the key to the Visitor Centre.
Guided Tours (for Groups)
- Guided tours are intended for groups of ten or more people.
- Advance booking is required at least five working days before the planned visit.
- A guided tour lasts approximately one hour (or as agreed).
- Please arrive on time. If you are more than fifteen minutes late, we may be unable to provide the guided tour due to other bookings, or the duration of the tour will be shortened accordingly.
