Anamarija Lajh (Slovenia), laureate of the 11th International Summer Flute School.
String Quartet of the Amadeo Orchestra Members:
Žiga Faganel and Vid Sajovic – violin, Anuša Plesničar – viola, Alja Mandič Faganel – cello.
Gallus protégé and the first Gallus Ambassador, Martin Belič, is an internationally acclaimed flautist. Originally from Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia, he has lived in Munich since 2007, where he serves as Deputy Principal Flutist of the Munich Philharmonic and Professor at the Leopold Mozart College of Music, University of Augsburg, as well as Lecturer for the Bavarian Music Association.
This year, he will lead the 14th International Summer Flute School. Three years ago, he introduced the tradition of selecting the most outstanding participant of the school. The title of laureate was awarded to Slovenian flautist Anamarija Lajh in 2023, Brina Unuk in 2024, and Czech flautist Vojtěch Čermák in 2025.
This year, we have decided to dedicate the Summer Gallus Stage of the Selected both to the school and its laureates and have therefore organised two opening concerts as an introduction to this year’s programme. The soloists, Anamarija Lajh and Vojtěch Čermák, will perform together with the String Quartet of the Amadeo Orchestra members.
